Organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the China Digital Economy Hundred People's Association and Beijing Kuangshi Technology Co., Ltd. jointly prepared the "New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry White Paper (2019)-Major Application Scenarios" on the 12th. The report believes that the development of China's artificial intelligence technology layer and application layer industry go hand in hand, and the diversified application detonates the technology layer industry into a period of rapid growth.

Reports that the technology-level industry is rapidly creating mature products and services with deep application in specific fields such as security monitoring, smart home and education and training, and has the ability to compete with international competitors. China has gradually emerged as a leader in the field of computer vision and language recognition, and is expected to push the industry scale to exceed USD 8 billion in 2022.

The report believes that the capital market's focus on the new generation of artificial intelligence tends to be rational. On the one hand, the difficulty for AI companies to obtain investment has risen sharply; on the other hand, innovative companies with the ability to provide solutions that can be implemented on the ground are expected to lead the accelerated formation of a new generation of artificial intelligence ecosystem.

It is worth noting that the report pointed out that talent is the key to the development of artificial intelligence. As of the end of 2018, there were more than 1.9 million professionals in the field of new-generation artificial intelligence in the world, and half of them came from the United States. There are 367 schools with artificial intelligence research in the world, including 168 in the United States, and Canada, China, India, and the United Kingdom in the second echelon.
